Bayside Martin Luther King Jr. Academy is hosting a youth and family day of self-care for COST program families. This nourishing day is part of a series of workshops, encouraging ways to incorporate healthy tools and choices within the family unit and at home.
We’ll use the Family Functioning Scale to help families discover tools for thriving. The day will consists of active workshops and fun programs designed to help parents, caretakers, and children define, understand, and reach their highest aspirations.

All participating families with receive care packages, designed to help families bring the tools and practices learned this day into their lives, reducing stress levels and creating balance within the family unit and the home.
This event is offered free of charge to all COST program families.
