Joyful Mind Project is happy to help support parents, teachers, counselors, and other adults with their practice of mindfulness, stress reduction, and self-care.  The following programs are offered at different times throughout the year.  Please inquire for more information.

NEW! Parenting as Practice - Resources for Sustained Engagement in a Challenging World: This four-session series aims to create a space for parents to pause together in the midst of busy family lives; to begin or deepen a meditation practice; and to explore practices that can support our inner wisdom in parenting to come through in our daily lives.  Wednesdays April 18, May 2, May 16, and May 30, from 6:00-7:30 pm.  Cost: $80 for the series.  $20 per session drop-in.  Location: 2999 Bowen St. Graton, CA.  Facilitators: Sarah Emerson and Chelsea True

Sebastopol Meditation Group:  This ongoing group for adults meets the first and the third Mondays of the month, from 7:00 – 8:30 pm, and is grounded in the work of  Thich Nhat Hanh whose core teaching is mindfulness. Beginning in April this groups meets the 2nd of 4th Wednesdays of each month.  We share sitting and walking meditation, a reading, discussion, and tea. Mindful Educators Alliance:  The Mindful Educators Alliance (MEA) is a Meetup project of Mindful Schools, formed to support the growth of mindfulness education in the San Francisco Bay area.  MEA holds quarterly retreats for educators, counselors, parents and anyone working with children.  Our last event took place in January 2018 featuring guest speakers Doug Lerch, founder of Seeds of Awareness and MEA co-founder Pam Walton, LMFT.   Our next event is slated for April 2018.
