All of our work is neurodiversity affirming. This means that we are inviting a way of thinking that values and accepts natural variations in human brains and nervous systems.
JMP aims to help people live authentically by removing barriers and making adaptations to their environment. In our work together, we may explore your neuro-type, examine traits sometimes diagnosed as Autism, ADHD, and OCD, and practice viewing these as normal differences, part of human diversity, not deficits needing a "cure."
In all of our work, we make space for different ways of communicating, processing information, relating, sensing, moving, focusing, and participating.
As a neurodivergent person, JMP’s founder, Meikyo Chelsea True’s work is rooted in Disability Justice. She brings a lifetime of navigating disability and ableism to her work — and she founded JMP as a place where her own access needs could be met.
